We keep investing in ourselves in a pleasant way this week. Getting new habits is so awesome, you will get used to adding good habits to your life as honey to your favourite tea. Enjoy the process!
Often we try to «become» happier only when we reach some goal and forget that happiness is each moment of our life, which means we may be happy along the way not one day when we reach a goal. That day you should look behind and if you were able to feel joy those days a gentle smile will appear on your lips. Why not live each of these moments while reaching your goal?
Our second new habit to be added into our lives is to indulge in a foam of happiness, water of opulence and internal calm. Each week on Saturday evening after the weekly dance which had been scheduled for 8.00-8.30 pm, read more about this in Habit #1 of our marathon. I will have a bath.
Why this constant new habit #2? Because water takes away our tiredness, thoughtfulness, and relaxes our body and soul. And also it is a complete-time full of calm and love for yourself!
Nowadays there are so many brands, producers, and products for bathing that you may not stop experimenting and fall in love in a process of choosing and trying different amazing products! When you will be choosing products you will be smelling scents asking yourself what do you like and want more. Even in this process, you will treat yourself, questioning what you want. So many times we think about how to please others, right? This is time to invest in yourself.
Thinking to write this post I wanted to experiment myself and prepare a unique bath. But that time I was tired of making all this new staff. So good to have a responsibility and timing as posting once per week, due to this marathon I started.
I enjoyed so much the process of creating this bath for myself that even already in the beginning all my tiredness had disappeared.
First of all, I made an atmosphere by putting big and small candles as well as a scented one. My choice was a small candle Rose & Lavender. This was the first time when I didn’t use ready bath products.
I made a milk bath of Cleopatra. I swear you will feel like Cleopatra not less. Milk baths thanks to acids that contain in milk cleanse from dead cells making our skin soft. Now let us come to the ingredients: In the bath pour 1 litre of milk and 100 grams of honey dissolved in a glass of warm water. Also, I put some sea salt.
My spirit lifted and I indulged in a beautiful feeling of happiness when I was pouring milk into my Cleopatra bath. Enjoy, feel the moment. It was a different feeling that I care about myself and love myself.
Taking the bath with chill music I was repeating slowly an affirmation which I just noticed written on my little rosy candle «I am loved and happy». You may take this bath for 15-20 minutes and then rinse your body with warm water.
After my bath, I was pure Cleopatra with the softest skin possible, silkiness that surprisingly amazed me!!! I suggest making a face mask while you are in a bed to keep pampering yourself. I will repeat this habit each week.
Do you know that an expectation of something pleasant develops in our body hormone dopamine which is the hormone of pleasure, a molecule of motivation? How to increase the level of dopamine in our body? There are several ways:
- Eat food rich with tyrosine – banana, avocado, eggs, chicken, fish, almond.
- Train regularly.
- Meditate.
- Make a massage.
- Sleep well
- Listen to the music.
- I will add – take a bath!
Some other suggestions for future baths that I am going to try next weeks:
Baths with sea salt:
Sea salt contains useful substances which relieve tension, relax, make skin elastic and smooth. Salt baths help to get rid of toxins while toning our skin and body.
Pour in a full bath 300 grams of salt. You may add a few drops of your favourite essential oil. Take a bath for 15-20 minutes and rinse with warm water.
Baths with clay:
You will need 400-500 grams of white or blue clay. Dissolve it in your warm bath, after 15-20 minutes of bath take a warm shower without soap or shower gel. This bath will improve your tone, delete dead cells and your dead feelings and other negative emotions! Get rid of them and say «Bye!» when water will be leaving a bathtub.
Taking a bath is not just bathing, this is a new habit in our marathon of preparing and then indulging yourself in LOVE to yourself.
